Time: 9am to 4pm
Cost: $250 - Due to limited space for the workshop, a $125 deposit is due upon registration with remaining balance due at the beginning of the workshop. At times, circumstances may require a change in your plans so a full refund is available until March 11, after that however, no refunds will be made.
The three day workshop is for beginner to intermediate level artists. You will be painting from photos and will discuss what to look for to make a good painting. Students will learn basic painting techniques with an emphasis on color, design and value in order to achieve a true sense of color and light in their paintings. You will premix your palettes to see the importance of color relationships to acquire harmony in your paintings. Step-by-step demonstrations will be given throughout the workshop and students will receive one-on-one guidance over the course of the workshop.
There will be a one hour break for lunch and coffee and snacks will be provided daily. Join us for three days of fun and painting! Feel free to "brown bag" lunch or join us across the street at Marketplace for great soups, sandwiches and salads! Plan on joining us Thursday evening to meet at one of the local restaurants for dinner!
